Startup of Xinjiang Tianli Gaoxin 200KTA EVA Plant (16.09.2022)
On September 16, 2022, the first set of Dushanzi Xinjiang Tianli Gaoxin Petrochemical Co., Ltd 200,000 tons/year EVA project, which is under the cooperation of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and China National Petroleum Corporation, had a successful start-up and started to produce LDPE (High Pressure-Low Density Polyethylene) products. The plant made further efforts to successfully produce high quality EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer) products TL-V1803 on Sep 25, 2022 (after only 8 days after the start up of the plant). The production of LDPE and EVA products marked the successful start-up of Tianli EVA Project. The project focused on existing Dushanzi Petrochemical Company's industrial layout, combined with its own advantages to constantly adjust the new business layouts and challenges, which has resulted in new breakthroughs in extending the downstream industrial chain of the existing plant.
The project was commenced on May 10, 2020 and handed over in a high-level and comprehensive way on June 30, 2022, with a construction period of 25 months. The total investment of the project is 2.46 billion RMB. After the project was put into operation, the annual output value can reach more than 3 billion RMB and will contribute more than 100 million RMB in taxes and fees, and will directly be able to employ more than 200 people locally. The project will bring the advantages of oil and gas resources in Xinjiang into full play, provide strong support for Xinjiang on promoting extension, replenishment and strengthening of the petrochemical industry chain, and promote the development of new energy and new materials industries. It will transform resource advantages into industrial advantages and drive local economic development.
The characteristics of this plant include the high operating pressure, many interlocking points and difficult operation. It is the first set of ultra-high pressure plant in Dushanzi, and there are only a few similar plants in the world. This plant can produce 16 kinds of EVA resin products, the products can be used for solar photovoltaic film, high foam products, ultra-high pressure wire and cable, etc. The features of the products are good heat sealed performance, good flexibility, strong impact resistance, and it can alleviate the high import dependency of EVA high-quality products, and contribute to the supply of new photovoltaic energy materials.
Our company has provided High Pressure Separator, High Pressure Valve, Rupture Disc, Safety Valve, PO Injection Nozzle, Thermocouple, Lens Ring, Quick Opening Door, Refrigeration Unit and Plate Heat Exchanger for the plant. We also dispatched personnel to the site to carry out on-site commissioning guidance service of High Pressure Valve and Quick Opening Door, and cooperated with the general contractor and the owner in all the work actively, which got positive feedback from the customer, and ensured the smooth start-up of the whole plant.
